我们的故事
一路走来的发展历程
STARK Group began with STARK Tower — 624 units, developed by STARK and managed by STARK Hotel Management. From the start, one company shaped both the building and everything that happened inside it.
That's grown into how STARK operates today. What started as a single development has become a group that runs the experiences people actually live in: hotel and hospitality management, fitness and wellness, food & beverage. Each one built and run in-house, not handed off to outside operators.
The reasoning is the same one behind STARK Tower. Cities don't need more buildings that sit apart from the life around them — they need a company that takes responsibility for the whole experience, from the space itself to everything that happens inside it. One standard, wherever STARK shows up.
This integrated approach allows STARK to maintain greater control over service quality, operational efficiency, and the overall experience for residents and guests.
LEADERSHIP
Who's Behind STARK
Since 2011, STARK has been steered by the combined leadership of its three directors, supported by a strong executive team. Together, our award-winning group specialises in urban residential development and property agency. Many of our people come from outside the property industry, and their different but complementary skills raise the standard of every project we deliver.
JEFFREY WANG
CHAIRMAN
Jeffrey Wang is a Singaporean entrepreneur known for the fashion brand Charles & Keith, which he launched with his wife, Madam Mary, and their three children, Charles, Keith, and Kevin, as a shop selling men's and women's clothing and shoes. Today it's a recognized name in footwear and bags globally, and one of the top 50 firms in Singapore.
DATO' TOH CHIN LEONG D.S.P.N., P.K.T.
DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
Dato' Toh built his career the way engineers build buildings: one project at a time, over decades. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and started at IJM Construction Sdn Bhd in 1995 as a Site Engineer. By the time he left in 2023, 28 years later, he'd risen to Senior General Manager (Northern Region) of IJM Land Berhad.
Dato’ Leon Lee D.S.P.N., D.J.N., P.K.T., P.J.K
FOUNDER AND GROUP CEO
Dato' Leon Lee is a visionary entrepreneur who's built his career across property, food and beverage, retail, and community leadership, and he's spent it moving between all four rather than staying in one lane. He's known in Malaysia's business community for that range, and for the strategic and leadership work behind it. He's Founder and Group CEO of STARK Development and Zeon Properties, where he continues to lead growth across the group's businesses.

ENVIRONMENTAL
Climate change is the central environmental concern at STARK Group, and we work to limit the impact our developments and operations have on the planet. That shows up in specific initiatives: structured waste management, solar panels to improve energy efficiency, rainwater harvesting systems for water conservation, and green building practices built into how we design and construct. Sustainable construction and eco-friendly design aren't add-ons here — they're how we build developments meant to hold up for the long term, not just meet today's requirements.

We weigh the impact of our work in both directions: what it adds, and what it might cost. Safety, health, and inclusivity shape how we design our spaces, down to details like AED emergency kits on-site. As an equal opportunity employer, we invest in training and uphold human rights and equal treatment across our teams. Our Corporate Social Responsibility work extends that commitment outward, contributing to the communities, economy, and environment around our projects. We keep an ongoing dialogue with stakeholders so our decisions reflect what the people affected by them actually need.

Sustainability isn't separate from how we run the business — it's built into our core strategy, backed by governance policies that hold us to it. We treat upholding human rights in the communities we operate in as a direct responsibility, and over the years we've put safeguards in place against bribery and discrimination. That standard applies to who we work with too: our supplier network is limited to partners who share our values. Risk management is central to protecting the quality of life in the communities we build in and keeping our spaces genuinely inclusive. Honesty and transparency drive our approach to corporate governance, reflected in clear authority limits and accountability at every level of the business.
